About a month ago, Lynzi invited me to take pictures at her baby shower. She had it at the Bistro in downtown Sevierville, if you haven't been there you should definitely check it out! Anyways... We decided to do a mini maternity session ( we planned to do another maternity session but Addie decided to be born :) ... haha) So tomorrow I get to meet Addie and do a newborn session with her... So I'll post the ones of Lyzi with from her shower....

Things are really starting to come together! Whoo Hoo!I got a new lens, I've got a logo on the way, I've got a website picked out to buy, and I finally figured out how to post bigger pictures on here! (See below, my dog Tucker...) All of this is expensive though and since I'm starting a photography business, I need business to pay for it all... soo, If you need pictures, know someone who does, or might need them in the future, let me know! Long time no blog...

I know in a business that is heavily dependent on social networking sites and blogging, the business owner should be consistent with such tasks..... however, I am not! and it bugs me! I want to do more and more photography, but I can't expect anything if I'm doing anything... so in an effort to start back up here are some photos from today... my dad's birthday, and as any cheap college student would do, give the cheapest gift possible... I made my dad my, I mean his, favorite pie... Key Lime...mmmm and I used real key limes. If you don't know key limes are about the size of a quarter and you need a billion of them to make a whole pie.... enjoy!

That's how I love my condensed milk...right out of the can with a spoon!

Of course I had to throw in a collage ... like always..

Guatemala 2010 is a fund raiser I've created and am promoting all on my own. This spring break my church, Shiloh Baptist in Seymour, went to Guatemala for a week long mission trip. It was a life changing trip and I can't wait to go back. Our church is going back in August and I am planning on going; however, as a typical college student, I am lacking the funds. Through the last year I have grown a tremendous amount in my faith, and I feel I am called to go and spread the word of God through this mission. To help raise the money to go I am offering photo sessions. You pick the location, sessions will last 1-2 hours maybe more maybe less. Sessions cost $50 and will include a CD (or email if you prefer) containing edited pictures that are yours to do with as you wish. Money will be due at the beginning of the photo session.

All profit from this will strictly go towards the mission trip. Fill free to contact via email (adamatchleyphoto@yahoo.com) or facebook with any questions you may have! Tell everyone you know :)

Also I made a video this time, there are a lot of mistakes, but I tried!

So you might know that I spent my spring break in Guatemala. A BIG thank you goes out to all of those who helped get me there!! I went with my church and we worked with Clubhouse Guatemala (Mike Parker and his AWESOME family!) We did some amazing things and saw God work in amazing ways! Of course I quickly became the group's photographer, haha, but I loved every single second of it! Here are a few of my favorites!

So I've figured out that active children are extremely hard to photograph. You practically have to take a picture every second to get at least one good one. I spent maybe 10 min with Reagan and I had about 70 pictures most of them only blurs.

This one is my favorite!

For some reason he loves playing with my old camera. Maybe I can teach him a thing or two when he gets older. haha.

David Cook @ the Square Room

So me and a couple of friends saw David Cook at the Square Room in Market Square. It was a pretty awesome concert and at a really cool, but small venue. It would've been better if I had my nicer camera, but all that was allowed in were small point and shoots. So these few pics are the more clearer ones out of literally hundreds of pics I took trying to get a decent picture. Ryan Star was the opening act, his pic is at the bottom.
I have learned that David Cook has some CRAZY fans who would stand outside in the pouring rain and during a tornado warning, many of them 40+ yr old women. haha.
